Kidney Bean Chowder
Ingredients
2 packs BOULDER SAUSAGE brand Ground Breakfast Sausage
2 cans kidney beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 large onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
½ teaspoon garlic salt
½ teaspoon thyme
1 green pepper
1 cup diced Potatoes
1 quart water
Preparation
- Cook sausage until brown, pour off any excess fat.
- In large kettle combine beans, tomatoes, water, onions, bay leaf and rest of seasoning; add sausage, simmer covered for 1 hour.
- Add potatoes and green pepper, cook until potatoes are tender, then add beans.
